I have to say that I have LOVED this summer. We have enjoyed every second as we have lived it up before Matthew started school. Incidentally, several things got put on the back burner, including my blog, as I spent all my time enjoying my kids so here is an update.
Matthew is now a kindergartener. He loves school and is so excited each morning to get to go. He says his teacher is nice and he likes his class but I think the majority of his excitement stems from getting to ride the bus.
This is him sitting with his class not even looking back at me as I (silently) bawl in the back of the room. He was unaffected by the separation which is a good thing I guess. Not too fun for me but I survived.

How exciting for him! It is hard to believe how fast the kids are growing up.

oh so sad you were so sad. is it all day? good for him ready to go off to school!
He looks so cute and old! I am sure he will be the best student in his class and love it!
I know....I don't know if I'm looking forward for kindergarten or not? At least we still have two years. It's kind of bitter-sweet isn't it?! That's great that he loves it so much:)
